Everything last year was saturated in Pumpkin Spice. Everything – from coffee to room spray – even a color was called pumpkin spice.
It became a Pumpkin Spice Love or Hate fest.
This season, I am not doing a single thing in pumpkin spice, not one.
This years focus is on Fresh!
Fresh everything. Fresh ideas on making life fun again, creating memories that last with family and friends, fresh traditions.
OK, so yeah, pumpkin spice can be fresh especially if you make it in a sugar scrub.

Here is an idea to use just for yourself or share with your friends or daughters or roommates.
Sugar Scrubs are beneficial because they are good for exfoliating and keeping skin healthy, hydrated and glowing.
So if you really need some pumpkin spice in your life, Try this:
Pumpkin Spice SUGAR SCRUB

With the weather turning cold and frosty again, this ultra-moisturizing sugar scrub is the perfect way to keep your skin smooth for the winter months to come.
Not only does this scrub smell amazing but it also gives your skin a nice glow due to the carotenoids in the pumpkin.
You Will Need
Bowl: small
3 TB. organic cane sugar, fine
2 TB. Grapeseed oil
2–4 drops cinnamon essential oil
1 TB. pumpkin puree
To Make
In a small bowl, mash the sugar and grapeseed oil together until the grapeseed oil is well combined. Stir in the cinnamon essential oil starting with a drop or two. (Don’t add too much cinnamon as it can be irritating in large amounts.) Thoroughly mix in the pumpkin puree.
Use scrub immediately, or refrigerate for up to two days.
Hint: Change it up by using different aromas and different purees

To Make the Basic Mix:
• 3 TB. organic cane sugar, fine
• 2 TB. Grapeseed oil
Change the add in’s to create different scrubs
• Avocado Puree with Lemon or Rosemary
• Greek Yogurt with Lavender
• Papaya puree with Lime or herbal aromas
Get the idea? The possibilities are limitless!
Use these scrubs right away. Because they do not have preservatives they will spoil within a couple of days. Therefore, keep them in the fridge to extend their life. Probably, you will just use them right up as you make them.
Finally, if gifting, make as close to giving time, store in the refrigerator and give instructions to keep refrigerated and use as soon as possible.
